Absolutely LOVE the performance this laptop gives! But after nearly a month with it, I can only give an honest review on what it provides vs what you are paying. For $1500 or so, this laptop is AMAZING! BUT!? After about a 3 weeks of heavy use, I could not get the Intel CPU to stop thermal throttling, and resetting the laptop several times a day. GREAT laptop when it works, but dont expect it to work for very long. Here's the kicker, you WILL need a cooling pad to provide extra cooling for this laptop, as the CPU thermal throttles(Reduces performance once hitting a certain temp) So quickly with just normal cooling that its bound to overheat and potentially burn itself out within the first 6 months if done so over and over. Also! If using MULTIPLE SCREENS! PLEASE turn quick startup off and change laptop to hibernate when walking away from or closing lid. This caused HUGE problems with work as I would be in a meeting and all of a sudden the laptops drivers fail, and there goes my meeting. Other then that, performance for gaming is outstanding! So is CAD work! Just ensure you keep an eye on temps! The predator software is also very convenient and interface is well laid out. You get the cooling in place, and youve potentially got desktop performance to that of a regular 5070 almost. But Intel's chips are a hard one to keep cool.
