You can download most all Trail apps like OnX offroad, Polaris ride, and many others. It has great GPS reception. Its a bit heavier than a apple mini or a samsung but it is waterproof for those big splashes in the cab. So far it's been great with cold and dust. I run it as well as a Garmin. Has a bright screen and the touch works good even with gloves on.

A robust and resilient tablet with extras optimized for use as a GPS host on a UTV.

The robust construction and materials employed result in a pretty hefty (and heavy), but strong and resilient platform for use as a in-vehicle GPS/mapping host. Because it uses standard Android you can also download and install a bazillion apps to increase its versatility whether you are an oil exploration engineer, forest manager, rancher, hunter/fisherman or just an weekend warrior/explorer.
I happen to use a Samsung Tab S7+ and Pixel 6a for my daily activities, but they are both better suited for use in an office or home environment, While the Samsung device has four times the screen resolution, it also costs four times more than this far more robust platform. My Samsung would not last long bopping around my local forests, but this MUNBYN tablet can take the usual bumps are grinds of punishment like when I am logging in a local forest. Trying it inside my house for a few days I placed it on a tablet floor stand because it is actually heavier than the 12.5' Samsung. I know I could probably toss the MUNBYN tablet around but I just can't bear to do that -- it will get ample exercise in the field, but that heavy weight is a testament to the robust construction and materials used to build it.
It came with Android 14 installed, which is little behind the times, but for its intended use on a UTV it has all the bells, whistles and performance needed and it is certainly built to take it and last. Despite its weight, there is a built-in handle on the back that keeps it well-secured in your hand. I find that handle superior to several other holding aids I use, it has a strong elastic portion and the attachment points are reinforced, so it feels like it is bolted into your hand. I am certain using this in my hand in the field will keep it safe and secure.
There was no documentation included and I was unable to find any user guide or other supporting documentation at the MUNBYN website. I sent an email to customer support three days ago and have not yet heard back, hoping they can send me a link to some information. Thus far I am kind of flying blind. I am a retired technology guy, so prefer to have some written guidance. I will update this review if I hear back and can get some guidance.
It charges quickly and keeps its charge a long time. I will also add a mount for my Kubota backhoe so it can be used with whatever vehicle I need in the field.
While it took my a few hours to get used to it because I came at it from the high-end Tab S7+, once I got comfortable with it I could see that it is optimized for my outdoor work and brings much more to the party than I actually need. I expect this to be an essential tool to my work.
A package of such quality and reliability for $239 is pretty reasonably priced,

Picky with chargers and charging port didn't last

Tablet was very useful - has good storage capacity, good screen size and easy to use for kids, can handle many apps, doesn't lag even with multiple apps installed, ports are covered for rugged use and casing protects the pad from rough use. We give this to our kid to play with when it wasn't connected to our car and he loves it - suitable for kids' needs.
Charging was annoying - we are used to tablets/phones taking different charging speeds. This one only charges well with the charger it came with. If you plug it to a fast or super fast charger, it actually slows down and barely charges... so we had to have a designated charging spot for this.
Durability - we got this Oct 2025 and the charging port broke April 2026. The pad is fine, but now we can't charge it. We haven't inquired as to how much fixing the port would cost, but for being a 'rugged' tablet it isn't very durable. This is the only phone/tablet in our house with a broken charging port.
It is quite expensive so having it break so quickly is disheartening. Not good value for us, unfortunately.

Rugged Tablet with 8GB RAM

The body is black, about 8-1/2 by 5-1/4 inches, with a thick, textured shell and diagonally cut, reinforced corners. It comes with a sturdy elastic strap. It's attached by two screws and I can unscrew them if I don't want to use the strap.
The 8.68-inch screen has a 1340×800 resolution. According to the settings, it runs Android 14 (security patch from September 2024), and I’ve had no crashes or slowdowns. Using a system info checker app from Google Play, I found out it has a MediaTek MT6789 processor with 8GB RAM. I can do a lot of multitasking and the tablet won't lag.
The rear camera is 48MP and it captures clear images. The front camera is 32MP. I find it more than sufficient for video calls. Though neither has optical stabilization or RAW support.
Its GPS works accurately and it is capable of NFC. I can use 5G Wi-Fi with WPA3 security. Bluetooth works with my wireless headset that pairs without issue.
Battery life last me 10 - 12 hours. According to the AccuBattery Pro app, the capacity is 8000 mAh. I have 116GB total internal storage. I can add a microSD card for extra space.
I have one USB-C port for charging and data, and a SIM slot for mobile data. There are speakers that I can still hear in wind. There are silver-finished power and volume buttons on the side.
I ran Fake Device Test and Castro Premium from the Play Store, and everything passed - RAM, storage, Android version, screen resolution. I know now it’s a genuine device with no spoofing. And I see it's Google Play certified.
