However, it mentions in the ad that it comes with Microsoft office and other programs. Which it does, but it neglects to inform you that they come via an app that eventually expire and that you must pay to renew. In fact, much of the "programs" on this unit are apps rather than installed programs. I guess that way they can simply shut it off if you don't renew.
Having apps instead of programs seems to make it more difficult to use, as it requires using an app rather than accessing a program on the drive. But maybe that's just me. It's a lot like using my Android phone as far as accessing programs. Another con is that the unit only has 2 USB ports. Which if you are like me, you will use one full time for a wireless mouse, leaving only one available for other removable stuff. So, it comes with a Buss port that plugs into the USB and provides additional USB ports (3), as well as SIM card and HDMI ports. As the computer has none of these built in. This requires you to carry the Buss unit around with you. It also does not have a CD-ROM drive. So, yep, you get to carry an external CD-ROM drive around with you as well if that is something you use regularly. Windows 11 is a bit of a bear for the typical Gen x, non-tech savvy person like me to use. But it functions. So, for the price, I guess I got what I paid for and will simply have to get better at using Windows 11..

I will eventually get me a computer system. I was looking into something I wanted to do. The laptop and the windows app will let me do those things.
