I purchased this gaming laptop around Black Friday for a great price, and it’s honestly one of the nicest laptops I’ve ever owned. I upgraded from a Chromebook because I wanted a real setup for creating content and working from home, and this laptop has been solid and reliable. The performance is excellent (Ryzen 7), and one of my favorite upgrades is the backlit keyboard. Seriously though, it feels like luxury and makes a big difference, especially at night. The only downside is the built-in speakers. The sound is clear, but it’s not very loud and doesn’t have much bass, which is pretty common with laptops. If audio matters to you, I’d recommend using a good pair of headphones or a Bluetooth speaker for a fuller sound. Also, the build quality is a big reason this laptop feels so premium. The full metal body makes it feel sturdy and higher-end (not cheap or flimsy), and the 16-inch screen size is the perfect balance, big enough to work comfortably without feeling oversized. I also really appreciate the built-in camera privacy shutter on top. It’s a small feature, but it’s one of those little details that makes it feel like luxury and gives me peace of mind.
